The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Reward Advisor to join our Head Office in Bristol.

Reporting to the Reward Manager, you`ll play a key role in supporting Reward activity across Unite Students, helping to shape how we deliver pay, benefits, incentives, and recognition in a way that is fair, consistent, and focused on creating a great colleague experience.

This is a varied and hands-on role, offering exposure to a broad range of Reward activity. You`ll work with employee data and systems, so a logical mindset and confidence using basic Excel will be important.

We`re looking for someone with experience in Reward, HR/People Services, Payroll, Finance, or a similar discipline who is keen to develop their career in Reward. Just as importantly, you`ll be someone who questions the status quo, looks for smarter ways of working, and enjoys making processes simpler and more effective.

This is a brilliant opportunity to build a long-term career in Reward within a supportive and collaborative team.

What You`ll Be Doing

  • Supporting key annual Reward processes including pay and bonus reviews, gender pay gap reporting, benefits enrolment, and benchmarking submissions
  • Working with the People Services team to help resolve more complex colleague Reward queries
  • Supporting the annual employee benefits cycle, including coordination with external suppliers
  • Helping identify and deliver process improvements, including opportunities for automation
  • Supporting the maintenance of Reward policies and guidance documents
  • Assisting with budget tracking and reporting (monthly and annual cycles)
  • Supporting the Reward Manager with projects and ad hoc tasks

What We`re Looking For

  • Comfortable working with numbers and basic Excel functions (e.g. IF, VLOOKUP)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A proactive mindset with an interest in improving processes and ways of working
  • Experience in Reward, HR/People Services, Payroll, Finance, or a related field
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • A collaborative approach and enjoyment of working as part of a small, dynamic team

What You`ll Get in Return

  • A discretionary annual bonus so you can share in the company`s success
  • 25 days` paid holiday and an annual holiday buying scheme, with 5 additional days awarded for long service
  • A generous pension scheme - employer contributions between 5% and 11% depending on how much you save
  • Various benefits to support your health and wellbeing including a Healthcare Cash Plan, an Employee Assistance Programme, a Wellbeing platform and a Gym benefit that you can share with your family and friends
  • Enhanced Family Leave including 18 weeks full pay for birthing parents and 4 weeks for non-birthing parents
  • Lots of other great benefits including an annual ShareSave scheme, Employee Life Assurance, a discounts portal and more!
