The Role

Unite Students have a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Brand Product Manager.

The Brand Product Manager bridges the gap between product development, operations and brand management, ensuring that our accommodation products not only meet customer needs but also reinforce our brand strategy and values.

Reporting into the Head of Brand, and sitting within the Brand team, the Brand Product Manager will play a key role in delivering new products to market. Using customer and market research to inform product development decisions, the Brand Product Manager will work with multiple stakeholders across the business to define and deliver new product propositions that ultimately support Unite Students` brand portfolio as well as helping us refine our existing student accommodation product to better serve our students.

What You`ll Be Doing

  • Driving product innovation based on understanding consumer insights, market trends and competitive intelligence, working closely with our Brand Researcher and Insights team to identify customer and market opportunities and translate them into product requirements.
  • Creating and refining customer propositions for new product offerings, ensuring they resonate with the intended target audience.
  • Working with various teams including Marketing and Sales to support the go-to-market strategy.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance our core PBSA product offering and defining USPs by segment.
  • Collaborating with property development and design teams to embed brand thinking into the physical space such as reception spaces, rooms, amenities, signage, and service touchpoints.
  • Identifying emerging trends in student lifestyle and recommending product or service enhancements (for example wellbeing features, tech integrations, co-living amenities).
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of the brand strategy, positioning and values.
  • Serving as the brand guardian in cross-functional projects.

What We`re Looking for in You

  • Bachelor`s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in brand management, product management, or marketing strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a creative and commercial mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-site, cross-functional environment.
