The Role
Our fantastic Transformation team is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join them at an incredibly exciting time for the business.

Reporting into the Project Management Lead, the Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of business transformation projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Working closely with our BA and Change teams, internal customers and external partners delivering key change helping Unite Students to reach its business goals. The role will be part of the Transformation Office.
This role is based in our Bristol office and is a 12 month fixed-term contract.
What You`ll Be Doing
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, including the creation and maintenance of project plans, managing resources, working with third parties and strategic partners.
- Ensure budgets are managed by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Manage stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment to deliver the project
- Manage 3rd party suppliers to deliver to time, cost and quality
- Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time
- Maintain a good working knowledge of other areas of the business, and activities of our competitors; keep up to date with trends and developments within own professional area
- Share best practice, and be principled in pursuit of the delivery of a world class student and employee experience
What We`re Looking for in You
- Great interpersonal skills to work well with your key business partners
- Proven track record for planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Experience of end-to-end business transformation projects with requirements beyond system implementation
- Experience of working within a PMO environment
- Experience in delivering projects with solutions involving both bespoke and package solutions
- PMP/ Prince 2 certification
- Basic understanding of data protection legislation and experience of developing and maintaining a team environment where personal data is kept protected, confidential and secure
