In this pivotal roleyou`ll take the lead in designing and developing in-house e-learning courses, supporting our people`s growth across the organisation. You`ll have the chance to craft and shape our learning materials, create innovative content, and make a real impact as we roll out a brand new Learning Management System (LMS). What You`ll Be Doing
- Crafting Engaging Learning Experiences: Design and develop impactful learning journeys from concept to completion, aligning each with our organisational goals and brand standards.
- Collaborating with Stakeholders: Partner with key stakeholders to understand specific learning objectives and co-create tailored content for online, virtual, and live environments, covering areas like compliance, onboarding, and skills training.
- Producing High Quality e-Learning Materials: Leverage tools like Articulate Storyline and Camtasia to create dynamic, engaging e-learning modules that promote active learning and retention.
- Applying Learning Theory: Incorporate principles from learning theory to design effective, learner-focused content that maximises engagement and understanding.
- Delivering Custom Solutions: Apply coding skills as needed to provide innovative, customised solutions that meet unique learning needs.
- Supporting LMS Transition: Collaborate closely with the L&D team to ensure a seamless transition to our new LMS, actively contributing to its development and content strategy.
- Ensuring Quality and Functionality: Test and troubleshoot content rigorously to guarantee functionality and effectiveness within the LMS.
- Meeting Deadlines with Excellence: Develop high quality content under tight timelines without sacrificing attention to detail.
- Embracing New Technologies: Continuously explore emerging tools and technologies to elevate our digital learning offerings.
What We`re Looking for in You
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in e-learning tools (Articulate Storyline, Camtasia) and video editing software; coding experience a plus.
- Instructional Design Knowledge: Strong grasp of learning theories and design principles, with a proactive approach to industry trends.
- Content Creation & Development: Skilled in designing and developing engaging, interactive e-learning modules that align with learning objectives and organisational brand guidelines.
- Creative Problem Solving: Ability to think innovatively to tackle technical challenges and create captivating learning experiences.
- User-Centred Design: Strong storyboarding, visual design, and UX skills to create intuitive, learner friendly interfaces.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Experience working with SMEs to gather insights and co-create content that is accessible and relevant.
- Adaptable & Agile: Able to manage multiple projects, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and respond to evolving needs.
- Accessibility Focused: Knowledgeable in creating inclusive learning content for diverse audiences.
- Complex Content Simplification: Skilled at translating complex subjects into easily digestible, learner-focused material.
- Continuous Improvement: Driven to refine content based on feedback, testing, and new learning technologies to enhance learner engagement.
