The Senior Energy Performance Manager plays a central role in delivery of the energy and carbon performance improvements needed to achive our net zero carbon ambition. Leading a team of three regional energy managers, the Senior Energy Performance Manager works closely with the wider Sustainability team and key stakeholders across the business including Field Operations, Estates, Procurement, Project Delivery, Asset Management and Finance to deliver energy efficiency capital projects and improve front-line energy management practices.

- Lead on the development and implementation of a robust approach to monitoring and verification of energy and carbon savings achieved through capital projects and other initiatives to inform evolution of our plans, internal and external reporting, and disclosure of performance vs our targets.
- Identify and trial emerging technologies and solutions to assess potential to support delivery of our net zero carbon ambition, and feed into future iterations of the net zero carbon transition plan.
- Lead on development and implementation of robust Energy Management processes potentially based on ISO50001 to facilitate ownership of, and improvements in, operational energy management across the Field Operations business.
- Track current and emerging regulations and best practice in energy management, ensuring compliance as required for example with ESOS and EPC MEES.
- Support the day to day management of utilities including our plans for long term decarbonisation of energy supply.
