Jonny Epps Service and Safety Supervisor
My experience with Unite Students is continually an adventure, always full of surprises and new challenges. I’m travelling to different cities all over the UK, meeting new people and making new friends.
When I first started, I quickly discovered this was a company I could grow with. Five years later and I’ve progressed to Service and Safety Supervisor of two growing cities. Working in Reading has been a great experience. The team are so warm and friendly, and make it a really fun place to work. Now that our team has widened, with the inclusion of Oxford, we have an even bigger, close-knit team.
Coming from a student background myself, I get a lot of enjoyment and satisfaction out of working closely with students. I enjoy helping them to grow, develop and enhance their university experience.
“Unite Students have really helped to support my talent and ambition. I’ve worked my way up from the front desk and each role has given me a different experience and insight into the business.”
Our people Sarbjit Sidhu Regional General Manager
Sarbjit Sidhu loves the challenge that each new day brings. For her being a Regional General Manager isn’t just a job, it’s a real vocation.
Sarbjit Sidhu Regional General Manager
It’s the fact that no two days are the same which makes being a City Manager such an exciting role. When I joined 8 years ago I didn’t imagine this is what I would be doing today, but Unite Students have really helped to support my talent and ambition. I’ve worked my way up from a Service and Sales Advisor and each role has given me a different experience and insight into the business.
It’s a fast-paced environment and we’re continually growing. Sometimes it can be tough, but everyone really looks out for each another and there’s always support available.
I love the people I work with and the students are absolutely the best bit. You see them grow and succeed in the most fundamental part of their lives. It’s not just a job, you know you’ve played a part in their future success.
