As Housekeeping Supervisor I look after all five of our properties in Manchester. I was first attracted to Unite Students when I researched the company – I was really impressed with the company ethos and its plans for the future.

There’s very much a can-do attitude here – we don’t create problems, we just find solutions for them and that runs through everything we do. We’re continually trying to find ways to improve things for the staff and for students to make their lives easier and safer. Every day is different and it never feels mundane.

The people here make it such a great place to work, everyone is here to help and do their job. We do regularly challenge each other on certain issues, but that just adds to the feeling that we’re all working to the same clear goals.
