Facilities Manager - 15 Month Contract

The Role

This is an excitnig opportunity to join our Central Estates Team as the Office Facilities Manager. In this role, you`ll beresponsible for making sure that our Bristol head office building and its services meet the needs of the people that work in it.

What you`ll be doing

  • The role is accountable for services such as: reception, security, parking, cleaning, post, waste disposal, makingsure the surrounding environment is in a suitable condition to work.

  • Youll be responsible for the general maintenance, health & safety and running of Head Office to maintain the working environment

What we`re looking for in you

  • Previous experience in managing an office building andworking in Facilities

  • Excellent all-round communication, people,andnegotiation skills

  • A self-starter and fast worker, able to demonstrate strong initiative and proactivity in a complex environment

  • Excellent sense of judgement regarding decision making and risk management

  • Experience of line management

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities, whilst maintaining focus on longterm goals

  • IOSH Qualification in Managing Safely preferred but not essential

  • Entry without a degree or HND is possible for those with the right combination of skills and experience. This could be gained from a similar role, such as management, administration or hospitality.
