What the job involves:


Reporting to the Senior Insight Manager, the purpose of this role is to be the voice and champion of the customer and employee within the business, representing their wants, needs and opinions. You will support continuous improvement and innovation by carrying out, commissioning and communicating insight on the needs, wants, attitudes and motivations of students & employees. This role will also provide a customer and employee insight service to the business as a whole to support good decision making at each level.


To give you an idea of what to expect, you`ll be:

  • Working with the Service Delivery Director to deliver strategic customer insight and support the improvement of customer satisfaction
  • Working with the Peopleteam to deliver strategic employee insight and support the improvement of the employee journey
  • Creatingand maintaining an accessible database of existing customer andemployee insights to inform actions and decisions at manager and senior manager level
  • Using internal data to support research and surveys bringing this together to generate clear and robust recommendations based on customer and employee insight
  • Communicating customer and employee insights proactively to managers and senior managers across the business in an engaging and actionable manner
  • Providing effective line management for two analysts and driving performance across the team


What we look for in you:

  • Highly experienced at using a range of qualitative and quantitative research and analysis techniques
  • Experience of interpreting research and insight activities, particularly qualitative insight, to inform business decision making at both a strategic and operational level
  • Excellent communicator, able to bring insight to life for employees at every level of a business in order to create change
  • An understanding of working with potentially sensitive information
  • A track record of writing reportsand board presentations that are accurate, logical and provide clear recommendations justified by sound insight
  • High level of competency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and Powerpoint
