Application Process

Our recruitment process varies depending on the role. We use a combination of selection and assessment techniques.

Our Talent Acquisition Team will make sure that you're fully aware of what to expect at each stage of the interview process.

Video interview

A video interview is the first stage of the recruitment process and it's a great opportunity for you to share your experience with us and let your personality shine through.

The video interview itself is really easy to use and it's best for you to do it in your own time from the comfort of your home. We'll prepare up to six questions that we'd like you to respond to simply by recording your answer on HireVue, our video interviewing platform. You can do this on a computer, laptop, tablet or mobile phone, if you download the free app.

Top tips

Here are some great tips for a brilliant video interview:

  • Be natural – imagine that you're talking to a friend, we want to see the real you!
  • Make sure you're prepared – do some research about our company, the position you've applied for and keep in mind that all our roles are customer service focussed.
  • Move on from any mistakes
  • Be enthusiastic – this is your chance to show us what you can bring to our team
  • And most importantly we want you to enjoy it!

Don't forget

You'll get a practice question at the start to get a good feel for what to expect. You'll have a set time to read each question, so use this time to think of your answer and get comfortable – only start recording when you're ready. You'll also have up to two attempts to record your answer, should you not be happy the first time around.

We'll be in touch once you've completed your video interview to let you know the outcome. If you're successful, you'll be invited for a face to face interview.

Assessment centres

We use assessment centres for a variety of roles, both in the cities and in our Head Office in Bristol. If you're invited to come along to an assessment centre, our Talent Acquisition Team will make sure that you're fully aware of what to expect.

Personality profiling

We use personality profiling to help us understand people's behaviours and their preferred way of working.

Psychometric / aptitude testing

For certain roles we use psychometric and aptitude testing. Our Talent Acquisition Team will make you aware if this is required for the role you've applied for.
